Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is 10 Books I’ve Recently Added To My TBR.
I’m actually going to make this the top 10 graphic novels/comics/manga I semi-recently added to my TBR pile.

Deadpool has already killed every hero in the Marvel Universe, but he isn’t through. This time…Deadpool’s gonna take down the most famous characters in classic literature! Why read a book when you can watch a book die?! Tom Sawyer gets slashed in TWAIN! The Little Women’s throats MAY get ALL-CUT! Scrooge gets a visit from THREE BULLETS! Gulliver gets a SWIFT DEATH! The Three Musketeers are all for DONE! Sherlock Holmes gets to the bottom of HIS OWN GRAVE! And more book-related puns! Can Deadpool rid the universe of the scourge of classical literature?
Spell of Desire, vol 1 by Tomu Ohmi

Among the shocking news that Kaname imparts is that Kaoruko’s mother is still alive and has entrusted Kaoruko with the immense power of the Witch Queen. As long as Kaoruko has that power, she will be the target of humans and demonic spirits alike.

Through the Woods by Emily Carroll

These chilling tales spring from the macabre imagination of acclaimed and award-winning comic creator Emily Carroll.
Come take a walk in the woods and see what awaits you there…
Storm, vol 1: Make it Rain by Greg Pak
Thief. Goddess. Headmistress. Queen. The X-Man called Storm has always defied a single ti tle. And her desire to better the world has never been limited to only her own kind. On an ongoing mission to foster goodwill and safeguard both mankind and mutants, Ororo Munroe will travel the globe, confronting villains, gods, monsters and everything in between. She will overthrow tyrants, quell tsunamis and strive to see her dream for the world realized. She is Storm, a hero like no other…and the skies will tremble at the sight of their namesake. But now, Storm must handle the fallout caused by familiar faces from her past. Why is Callisto kidnapping wayward youth from the streets of New York? Will Storm’s romance with Forge be reignited? And can Yukio help Storm deal with the recent death of Wolverine?
Displacement by Lucy Knisley
In her graphic memoirs, New York Times-best selling cartoonist Lucy Knisley paints a warts-and-all portrait of contemporary, twentysomething womanhood, like writer Lena Dunham (Girls). In the next installment of her graphic travelogue series, Displacement, Knisley volunteers to watch over her ailing grandparents on a cruise. (The book s watercolors evoke the ocean that surrounds them.) In a book that is part graphic memoir, part travelogue, and part family history, Knisley not only tries to connect with her grandparents, but to reconcile their younger and older selves. She is aided in her quest by her grandfather s WWII memoir, which is excerpted. Readers will identify with Knisley s frustration, her fears, her compassion, and her attempts to come to terms with mortality, as she copes with the stress of travel complicated by her grandparents frailty.”
Captain Marvel, vol. 1: Higher, Further, Faster by Kelley Sue DeConnick
Hero! Pilot! Avenger! Captain Marvel, Earth’s Mightiest Hero with an attitude to match, is back and launching headfirst into an all-new ongoing adventure! As Captain Marvel, a.k.a. Carol Danvers, comes to a crossroads with a new life and new romance, she makes a dramatic decision that will alter the course of her life – and the entire Marvel Universe – in the months to come. But as Carol takes on a mission to return an alien girl to her homeworld, she lands in the middle of an uprising against the Galactic Alliance! Investigating the forced resettlement of Rocket Girl’s people, Carol discovers that she has a history with the man behind the plot. But when the bad guy tries to blackmail Carol and turn the Avengers against her, it’s payback time!
Inu x Boku SS by Cocoa Fujiwara
The elite and beautiful Ririchiyo Shirakiin has a bad habit–she can’t help but lash out at people with her vicious tongue, all while hiding behind a mask of haughty cool. This attitude has a lot to do with people minding her business because of the Shirakiin family name, but it troubles Ririchiyo to no end. In search of independence and solitude, she moves to the Maison de Ayakashi, an apartment building full of wealthy tenants and with its own Secret Service. Ririchiyo is eager to be alone, but upon her arrival, she is greeted by Soushi, an SS agent arranged for her by her parents. Ririchiyo tries to turn Soushi away, but Soushi’s dogged devotion to his new mistress will not be deterred.
Suicide Squad, vol. 1: Walled In by Matt Kindt
Our world belongs to the Crime Syndicate!
With Forever Evil sweeping across the DC Universe, the Suicide Squad find themselves in a world full of villians now free from their shackles — Belle Reve! And now with the Reverse Suicide Squad taking over Belle Reve, Amanda Waller and James Gordon Jr. must free a mysterious prisoner from the early days of the New 52 if they are to have any hope of surviving! From new writer Matt Kindt comes the Squad’s deadliest mission yet!
I hope you end up loving them all!

Deadpool Killustrated looks funny. I admit I don’t know much about Deadpool, but I know there’s a movie coming and he seems pretty popular. Storm looks interesting- I always liked her relationship with Callisto from the old stuff (the Morlocks were kinda cool).
And suicide Squad I want to try as I’m kinda new to DC and the movie looks good.

I’m really excited about Deadpool Killustrated. I’m all for him causing chaos with literary characters. 😛
Storm was pretty good! I just finished it actually. Callisto makes a brief appearance in that volume but doesn’t stick around much, unfortunately.
I’m not sure how I feel about the New 52 Suicide Squad. I’ve only really liked one volume, the rest have been either “meh” or awful.
