- Yay! I don’t have cable anymore, so I’ve lost track of “Star Wars Rebels”. I keep hoping that Netflix will get it (please get it). If you haven’t watched the series it’s definitely worth checking out.
- Suffragist Alice Paul would have turned 131 on Jan. 11th. (via Heavy)
- I love the doodle that Google posted on Alice Paul’s birthday for this.
- Great white sharks’ predatory behavior captures by underwater drone video (The Guardian)
- The video from the drone is pretty interesting…and terrifying. Makes you think twice about going scuba diving.
- How Micky Mouse evades the public domain. (via Priceonomics)
- I’m not even 100% sure how I found this article. It’s a fairly interesting history on how Disney has managed to keep Micky Mouse out of the public domain over the years.
- I feel the need to mention the passing of David Bowie this week, but don’t wish to link to any of the numerous articles or tributes to him. I always feel weird seeing the world grieve the loss of any celebrity and even weirder when, as a fan, I mourn an artist’s passing. So instead, I’ll just say thank you for the music.

I’m kinda happy to hear Leia will be appearing, I haven’t watched that show but I would if it comes to Netflix definitely. I’ve heard good things. I like Read It or ditch It- fun feature. And LAdyhawke- now there;s a classic. Looking forward to seeing your post on that one!

There has been quite a few deaths over the past few weeks that are heartbreaking!!! I am interested about the great white sharks vid.

It was super interesting! Especially since the camera is so close to their face when they attack the drone. It’s pretty impressive that they seem to come out of no where too.

I love all things sharks but would never get in the water with them. Seen some huge ones while fishing in the gulf.

I just finished catching up with the last couple of Star Wars Rebels episodes to prepare for the return of the show this week. I saw the commercials for it earlier in the month showing Princess Leia – hoping the ep will be awesome 🙂

Ah I’m jealous that you’re all caught up on the series. I miss it a lot. I’m tempted to buy the seasons on Amazon so I can watch them. I really loved the episode with Lando in it. So I’m hoping they’ll do good with Leia as well.
