Around the Web this Week
This week was pretty busy, so I didn’t have much time to surf the net for interesting articles throughout the week. Instead, here’s one of my favorite Christmas cookie recipes. I make these every year for holiday parties and they’re always a huge hit.
- Candy Cane Kiss Cookies by Recipe Girl
What a cute Christmas cookie! Not sure if we get those Hershey’s Kisses here in the UK, but I may try and search them out.
Looking forward to your Tuesday Top 10!

Thanks, Li! I hope you can find the Hershey kisses in the UK, or something close to them, so you can try out the recipe! (Those kisses are mostly white chocolate and crushed candy canes I think)

I’m so jealous that your Christmas shopping is done! And that’s great that you already have a plan for a 2016 reading challenge. Looking forward to seeing it, have a great week!

Thanks, Tammy! I hate shopping so I forced myself to stay out on Saturday until I finished all my Christmas shopping in one swoop.
I’m trying to do a couple of small-ish reading challenges this year. Fingers crossed I’ll do better at keeping up with them this year.

I haven’t even started my Christmas shopping *sighs* I think I’ll be able to get to that once my classes finish on the 18th.
Have a fantastic week and happy reading.

I haven’t started Christmas shopping yet, I’m still trying to figure out what to get everyone. 🙂 Home Alone is a great holiday movie, even though I’ve seen it a zillion times it does get you in the holiday spirit.
Looking forward to your Film Friday on White Christmas- if that’s the one with Bing Crosby that’s a favorite of mine. A holiday tradition. 🙂

Nicely done with the Christmas shopping! I need to get one more thing – for my mom, who is the most difficult person to shop for – and then I’m good to go! Really excited to finally be finished… I feel like I spent more money this year than any other year! 😀 Anyway, have a lovely week! 🙂

Thanks, Alyssa! I know how you feel! I think I spent more money this year than I usually do as well. My mom I can usually buy for, it’s my step-dad that I have the most trouble with.
I hope you’re able to find something for your mom!
